Origins of Consumer's Choice:
The idea for a consumer based carpet cleaning company began from a college internship the owner
completed with The Florida House of Representatives in 1985-86. At the time, "bait and switch"
moving companies and "hidden-charge" carpet cleaner companies were rampant in South Florida. Many
consumers were reaching to their State Legislature for help. Bruce White was in a position to notice,
and Consumer's Choice was thus born as the remedy to the "bait and switch" and "add-on" pricing style.
